Francis X. Clooney (Parkman Professor of Divinity, Harvard Divinity School) is releasing a new book. His memoir Hindu and Catholic, Priest and Scholar: A Love Story will be available in print and electronic form starting June 2024, from T&T Clark/Bloomsbury.
Prof. Clooney also received two honorary degrees during the 2023-24 academic year: from the University of Scranton, Scranton PA (September 2023) and Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY (May 2024).
He is currently working on a new translation of the first four ālvārs, Vaiṣṇava poet saints of Tamil Nadu, and a small book on the future of interfaith studies.
