Giorgia Bove is a PhD candidate in New Testament and Early Christianity at Harvard University. Her dissertation focuses on Christian demonology and explores the positive roles of demons in Late Antique Christian societies. Giorgia’s research topics include ancient Greek and Hellenistic philosophies, asceticism, mysticism, and apocalypticism. She also studies ancient material culture, particularly magical devices. Among her research languages are Greek, Coptic, Latin, Hebrew, and Syriac. Prior to her time at Harvard, Giorgia earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Classics from the University of Padova.
