Harry Hall is a doctoral student in religion and literature. His research considers critical theory, ritual, psychoanalysis, and modern theories of literature. Specifically, he is studying the aesthetics and religion of the fin de siècle socialist utopian novels from the U.S. and U.K., including their relation to social gospel, aestheticist, and feminist movements. Harry is a nonfiction and fiction writer as well as a prose editor of Peripheries, a Harvard-based literary and arts journal. He received a BA in English Literature and Religious Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School.
