PhD Candidate

Laura Mucha is a PhD candidate in the history of Christianity. Her work examines conceptions of the subject across medieval Christian mysticism, gender and psychoanalytic theory, and contemporary fiction. She is also interested in the import of confessional and martyrological literature as technologies of the self from the early Christian period to the present. Laura received a BA from Colgate University in 2020 and an MTS from Harvard Divinity School in 2022.
