Leah’s dissertation research considers questions of Christianity and education in early 20th-century Egypt, including work on the Coptic Orthodox Sunday School Movement, American Presbyterian missionaries, and periodicals as a form of religious education. In addition to her research, she has served as a teaching fellow for courses at Harvard Divinity School and in the Harvard College Program in General Education, as well as serving as the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Comparative Study of Religion from 2021 to 2024.
