Madeleine studies the lives and writings of saints and holy women through the long history of Christianity, with a particular focus on issues of consumption and embodiment. She is interested in gender and psychoanalytic theory, continental philosophy, and the history of psychiatry. Madeleine holds a BA from Rollins College and an MTS from Harvard Divinity School.
