Sherah Bloor

Sherah Bloor is completing a doctorate in philosophy of religion at the Committee on the Study of Religion. Her dissertation is on medical theories of phantasms (mental images) in eighteenth-century Europe, and how these theories informed Kant’s thinking about the religious imagination. Sherah also writes poetry with her first collection, The Gathering, forthcoming from Omnidawn in fall, 2026. For CSWR, She organizes the Peripheries Poetry Series and is the editor-in-chief of the literary and arts journal, Peripheries.
