Harry Hall studies modernist and contemporary literature and art, in relation to religious studies, gender and sexuality, and affect studies. His recent work considers the ethical and aesthetic orientations of critical theory and psychoanalysis, including their resonances with Christian and Jewish theologies. Harry is a fiction and nonfiction writer as well as the managing editor of and contributor to Peripheries, a Harvard-based literary and art journal. He holds a MTS from Harvard Divinity School and a B.A. in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
