L. Patrick Burrows
L. Patrick Burrows studies contemporary systematic Christian theology, feminist, queer, and womanist theories, and their critical engagements with each other, especially as regards human subjectivity and forms of relationality. He is also interested in how these theological and theoretical claims bear on and respond to social imaginaries and action. His recent research focuses on idolatry, doctrines of sin, queer negativity, and logics of racism and (hetero)sexism. He holds an M.Div. from Yale University and an A.B. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in linguistics and French.
