Ryan Gregg is a PhD candidate in Religion, specializing in Religious Thought (Philosophy and Theology) and Hebrew Bible. Broadly interested in these domains, his research centers on questions about love, particularly theological narratives within and beyond the Bible that portray love’s strange itinerary of exile and humiliation, followed by restoration and homecoming.

 

Prior to the doctoral program, Ryan studied at Harvard Divinity School (MTS, Philosophy of Religion), The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Modern Hebrew), and Northwest University (BA, Biblical Literature).
